GPM boots use a protective cover for the wheel hub portion which reduces risk of marring the wheel hub.
Boots will carefully be placed on vehicles which are in violation of parking rules only after vehicle driver is observed entering an establishment unaffiliated with the parking lot where the vehicle was parked.
Uniformed attendants will appear in full view displaying badges, be courteous at all times to all users of the monitored parking lot, and will not leave booted vehicles unattended.
All drivers of booted vehicles will be provided a “Bill of Rights” and all conversations with attendants are tape recorded.
All parking violations are documented with times of driver leaving and returning to vehicle. A stopwatch is attached to boot to document times.
A vehicle in parking violation will never be entered or moved by Global Parking Management.
Payment for parking violations can be paid by either cash or major credit card at the site of the violation.
Information Pertaining to Managed Parking Facilities
Users of a monitored parking lot will be clearly warned of booting by at least three signs posted in illuminated areas within the lot.
Vehicles whose drivers go into any store affiliated with the managed parking program will not be booted.
Vehicles that have broken down, with the permission of the parking lot owner, will be monitored but not booted. However, if the broken down vehicle is not removed by its owner within time frame designated by lot owner, it may be subject to be towed by a non-GPM company.
Vehicles in which the driver remains behind the wheel will not be booted. However, driver may be asked to move such vehicle by the parking attendant.
Additional Information
Flyers notifying neighbors of managed parking program will be distributed General Information two weeks prior to commencement of booting program.
A toll-free number for GPM is clearly posted at the managed parking property.
Global Parking Management’s constant presence at a parking facility deters criminal activity, vandalism, looting and pan-handling.
GPM and its employees will not debate issues with parking facility users and or violators. The booting process is clearly noted in the parking facility via signage and in the “Bill of Rights” issued to a parking facility violator.
